Save your time and money, its not the coupler. Sounds more like some sort of electronic problem if the gauge is reading randomly like that.
I just installed a 5 button "mine was a 3" and the temp sensor behind the right headlamp. All works but the boost gauge does not and why? And how do i reset the milage?? 2004 gtp...thanks.
I've checked for vacuum leaks. Replaced boost bypass valve and boost control solenoid. Will try coupler next.
