Backup lights don't turn on in R

My backup lights don't come on when I put the car in Reverse. The bulbs are new, the fuse is new, the position sensor on the top of the transmission is new....what else might it be?? It's been driving me NUTS!

Wow, I feel like a DORK! It's a 99 Grand Prix SE.
