I am looking at buying a 99 grand prix GTP with reverse out of the transmission, I have read online that it uses a heavy duty transmission which i believe is a 4T65E-HD what I am wanting to find out is what other years use this transmission and what other models might use it so I could take a trip to a bone yard and find the right one I will need. Any help would be really appreciated.

I had been told that only a 98-99 would work but was sure others would also. Thanks TA!
