when we try cranking the negative wire to
the battery gets really hot and and the

start the car before it would make a clicking

I have the same problem with my car I need help finding out what the hell is wrong with my car.

Same problem here with my '93 Aerostar. New clockspring, new alternator, new battery, and installed a new starter about a month before the mechanic who failed it on inspection gave me his laundry list of repairs. No exposed wires (stripped and visible) and all circuits having to do with the clockspring are working, but the vehicle won't crank. When I turned the key to start the vehicle, nothing happens. I no longer have any idea how to fix this and it just keeps on piling up on cost to fix. Before it is done and ready for inspection we may wind up spending a few thousand, by the way things are going, or waiting indefinitely for the parts. Someone help!
