motor knock.. do u have a clue?

i have a white 95 ggrand prix gtp coupe, 3.4l v6 and there is a motor knock a guy that i know, fluent with motors says its prolly a valve or a valve spring and being that its an overhead cam they are aboce the pistons and its falling down and the compression is holding it up.. and it might be hitting it the piston at the ttop of the cycle. do u know if this is a nutorious problem with them? andd how much/ hard will it be to fix it?
but other then that i love this car!! its absolutely amazing!!

hey there, I have a fair amount of experience with the LQ-1 motor. They are NIGHTMARISH to work on and wicked expensive to fix IF,,,you can find a mechanic willing to work on them. Your best bet is to check out w-body.com they have guru's there that know those motors and cars inside out.
