I have a 01 grand am and I hear a whistling and rattling noise coming from under the hood while I’m driving

Do you hear the "whistling" noise at idle" if you ....do step on the gas a little and see if it gets more pronounced..if it does it could be a vacuum leak...also the rattling noise could be coming from something such as a loose grill, ground effects part, exhaust shield etc.,which may also produce a whistling sound...look the car over good.....grille area, underneath the care look for loose parts....hope this helped
