why does my 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS suddenly stops running?
I was driving when my car suddenly shut down, in the middle of the road. Why would the
reason be? I had fuel and everything was working, I don't know what went wrong.

Will it stay running if you feather the gas pedal? If so check idle air control valve and for dirty throttle plate.
Also how long since your last timing belt replacement? If won't stay running feathering the gas and only turns over with no start I would inspect timing belt and timing alignment.
