Asked by twolf309 Aug 30, 2018 at 08:18 PM about the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 Dr LS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I have a 1999 grand marquis
177,500 miles 4.6
New coil packs (8)
new plugs (8)
fuel pressure 35 psi
K&N filter
Car has poor low to midrange power but as soon as you get to 50 mph at 3/4 throttle feels like a switch is turned on and it smooths out a little and starts pulling like crazy ( considering it's 20 years old with almost 180 grand on it) any places i should concentrate on?
Cleaned mass air flow and throttle body new tps
idles at 830 rpm with a/c on
