Leaking from Allen head plug?

Asked by Kelly Feb 11, 2016 at 07:26 PM about the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 Dr GS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There's an Allen head plug underneath where the oil pressure sensor plugs
in. Not sure what it is or what it's for but it's leaking, yet it's tight. I need to
know what the name of it is so I will know what to ask for.

Sound like just a plug to an access hole, just take it out and clean it up and wrap some Teflon tape around it & put it back in.
