Question type: General

I have an 2004 Lincoln Town Car for which I hear a
"roaring" noise coming from the front end.  This
happens at speeds of about 20 mph and above?
This just started about a couple of days ago and the
noise seems to gradually get louder.  Steering is
fine, no shaking from it or brake.  Tires are less than
a year new.  What might be the problem?

I would check the wheel bearings.

Hello, Four is correct...These are modular hub/unit wheel bearings...You may find that your referenced tire shop would be an ideal candidate to install...do it all the time...very little to mess up, they know how to be careful in ABS brake area...hubs are 100/under dollars each... Good Luck, ATM
