Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Lincoln Town Car with 88,000 miles.
Today the air suspension lite came on and I looked
to see if it was riding low. I noticed that the left
side is riding about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch lower then
the left. I am being honest, I am not 100% sure but
I believe that the height sensor might be bad and I
don’t want to pay for work that does not need to
be done. Can anyone give me input on what might
be wrong?

If the sensor was failing BOTH sides would be effected...with a lower or higher than normal ride height. This air ride system is very basic and not difficult to service, most likely a leaking air suspension bag (not expensive) or possibly the connector on it.

Is there a way to make sure that it is the bag? The bags were recently replaced, within the last few year and was not driven much.
