Starting issue

2005 jeep limited with a 5.7 liter V 8 hemi motor. I thought it was a battery issue
but when its cold it starts but after its hot it seems to be dead and hard to turn
over. You cant even jump it off , so that makes me think its not the battery.

I think you are correct it's not the battery, if jump start doesn't help. Maybe it's the starter but I don't know who can test those while in the truck. It would be like an amp draw test.
