What is wrong with my 2004 Grand Chrokee?

Asked by badbaron Jun 06, 2016 at 04:28 PM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

3 weeks ago I threw a code for a cylinder 1 misfire.  it went away on its own after 2 days before I could get it checked.  The day after it went away, my battery guage starting bouncing from 12.5 to 15.5 consistently.  I made sure all my connections were tight and the needle stuck at just under 14.  2 days after that I htrew a cyclinder 1 misfire again.  This lasted 9 days and the battery guage was fine.  2 days ago the check engine light went out on its own again and the battery guage started jumping around again.

Scan it for DTCs at least fix the misfire on cylinder one. Then go forward with your diagnostic and the bad ground situation.Regards
