03 Grand Cherokee Front Driveshaft

I have been waiting 2 weeks for the front
driveshaft to be replaced in my 2003 overland. I
keep being told they are getting the wrong
driveshaft in and the 03 takes a different size than
the other years this model uses. Is there any truth
to this or am just getting the run around?

This shaft can be fabricated quickly in the correct faculty.. such as a joint, clutch, gear.. differential shop. I only need center to center of connection points... couple hours Max and DONE, most shafts approx $150 Some places like to make simple things complex! BUT.. you might live in a very remote location that changes things.

I don't even know where it's at. I purchased this Jeep from a dealer where it was advertised as a 4x4. The first week I noticed it had been removed so I returned it to dealer who in turn said he would have fixed and was unaware of the issue. They have had it for 2 weeks now and I still don't have a Jeep.
