There are other people driving on the road , you don't have to blind them with your bright lights. If you can't see at night with stock head lights maybe you shouldn't be driving

Twenty years ago, headlights hadn't gone through the LED & Halogen revolution yet, and were dim by comparison. You should google what you want, and you'll find aftermarket conversions that say a novice can install, but are best left to a car electronics mechanic. At least then you'll have a warranty for when they go bad. Or you might consider add ons, like fog lights. They're easier to figure out and should add enough light to compensate. And do aim them correctly.

Then go with canbus LED headlight bulbs, they are plug and play so you can’t mess up.
