taillights out, brake light and turn signals all ok, checked #6 fuse even changed it , all other systems are working, checked the bulbs, see some particles but elements look intact, what next

all systems good, Fuse #6 ok, bulbs look burn a bit but elments look intack, a few
particles in side bulb.. still not tail lights, brake lights good, which is the same bulb as tail
lights, turn signals good. hate to take to mechanics and pay out 200 plus dollars if i can
fix it myself

Check out the ground wire. Make a test ground wire and see what happens.

try a new bulb .those particles are the taillight filaments while the brighter turn filaments are still ok the tail light portion of bulb is out ,

replaced bulbs still no taillights, not sure about the ground wire seeing that the power is supplied by harness going into the back of the light unit and turn, emergency flashers, and brakes lights all work....still open to suggestions, also checked the fuses under the hood , all ok.

This may sound crazy BUT is your radio or cigarette lighter working? Many years ago I had a Chevy and when the cigarette lighter or radio fuse when out so did the rear lights.
