My jeep started ticking then it started knocking acted like it
wanted to cut off the noise was coming frim top of engine

Need to pull valve cover, inspect & locate the loose rocker arm, before tightening it pull out that corresponding push rod, roll on flat surface to see if it woobles(bad) or is flat(good) &replace a push rod if needs it, Tighten rocker back up, put on new valve cover gasket if needed.
