Speedometer Stopped Working!
Today my speedometer stopped working. Odometer is not advancing ether.
I checked all the fuses to see if any were blown but all seemed good. Next I
want to check the ground and speed sensor but I don't know where to start.
Where do I look for the speed sensor and what should I look for to
determine if it is working? Where are the ground wires leading to the
speedometer? I want to check but there are a ton of wires under the dash.
Any help would be appreciated.
check your wheel speedsensors,That is your last calibration for your speedometer. Is your abs light on?
had same problem in my 99 grancherokee
oh, also your input and output sensors on your transmission. depends on your year.speedom sensor, located drive side output shaft on you tranny
The ABS light is not on. Only the check engine. I am trying to locate a ground attached to see if it is broken or corroded. Now my speedometer sensor is located on the drive side of my output shaft? It looks like there is two sensors attached there. Is it safe to just pull it out and look?
