cost to repair spoiler brackets underneath motor

Asked by Janis Jun 26, 2010 at 01:48 AM about the 2002 Audi TT 1.8T Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Today my spoiler underneath my motor had 2 brackets break off and the spoiler was dragging the pavement.  I had someone temporarily put the spoiler back in place but I need to get the brackets replaced.  I was wondering how much I may anticipate the cost to be to have this work done?

are you referring to the plastic belly pan under the motor? if so don't worry about it. just throw it out. dont spend your money having someone else fix something that isnt broken.

This pan protect the belly of the motor. It is valuable. Call 800-all-Audi and ask for one. They deal with only Audis. They have helped me. Avoid damages. These pans have several ways to be attached. Make sure they send all of these. New from Audi are lots of $$. Best of luck.
