Anyone with a similar problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 3 year old battery went dead in my 2002 TT roadster.  I replaced it with a
new one and the car started right up. Next morning , dead battery. Charged it up
and starts fine. Again, dead the next day. So there is a drain somewhere yes?
Any help as to where to begin looking for a dead short? Or ???
Help!
Thanks.

Definitely a short in the wiring... do you have anything plugged in the cig lighter (phone charger, navigation etc.) you'll definitely get premature battery failure if that's the case.
