Where's the torque

Asked by Apr 04, 2017 at 04:35 PM about the 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 SL Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently changed my fuel pump and fuel filter.
Now there is lag from park to drive. The truck does
not want to accelerate. The same thing happen
when I am at a stop sign it takes time to get it up
and going. Please some one help

you should check the idle and full run fuel pressures...also blow out the lines ..and run some good ( ZMAX ) fuel treatment through it...

Could it be anything else. Like a valve?
