To try to fix the problem I replaced the following,
front breaks, rotors, calipers, rear drums, shoes,
hardware, wheel cylinders, plugs and wires, air
filter, yet the truck had to throttle up real hard to
make it up even the simplest hills with no load

If you have a check engine light, go to an auto parts store and have them scan for a code. I can’t see it in person, but if I had to guess, it’s possible it’s a clogged catalytic converter.
