the check engine light will come on when you turn the ing. switch on. the light goes out when the engine starts. when you turn ing. switch off and back on w/out removing the key, the check engine does not light? if you remove the key and wait 5 sec. and insert the key and turn the ing. switch to on, the check engine light turns on? if you start the engine the check engine light goes out.
