Rear ac heat issues grand caravan

I have a 06 grand caravan the rear ac/ heat only
blows out warm air with the ac on. I took it apart
there are two dampers one to divert air from feet to
face and one shuts the ac side off. Nothing to shut
heat side off.  Is there always hot coolant running
through rear heater core or how does rear heat get
shut off to rear when ac is on. Ac is working back
there it just mixes with the warm air

had same thing happen to me i have 2007 when chaging system u need oth front and back air high or it will blow hot air
