You need to clarify. If the temp gauge shows normal temp, how do you know the engine is overheating? Did you use an infrared thermometer? And no, you should not go without a thermostat. It will actually cause overheating.

No I don't have infrared thermometer, yes the temperature gauge is normal, the whole engine compartment is very hot, I'm just wondering if there is something wrong with the water pump, or the temperature sensor, or the cooling fan, for me the engine is very hot, I even compare to my friends same van, and his is not hot like mine. I thank you very much for your input.

I would purchase an infrared thermometer and take the temps of the radiator hoses, cylinder head and exhaust. Then compare them to your friends vehicle. Without that there isn't really much info to suggest theres a problem.

Its going into summer time ,if you live where the temp is 80 degrees and higher don't put water in your radiator ,only a top brand Coolant ( anti- freeze ) ex:Prestone .. You can also put less strain on your engine using a 5-20 or 5-30 weight oil .. A thermostat is basically used in the winter to warm the engine for heat in your car..
