I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. Today, I decided to remove the stereo and install a new one. The old stereo was not the factory installed version, but an older Blaupunkt model installed by the previous owner. All I did was remove the stereo from the dash, unplug the harness and antennae & remove the wires from the harness. Now, several things have stopped working simultaneously: The key fob will no longer lock/unlock the doors; the instrument panel lights do not work at all; all internal lights will only turn on when the ignition is on & the open door chime does not sound. There may be more that I have yet to discover. I have checked all of the fuses in both locations - under the dash and beneath the hood. They all appear fine. Any ideas? How are all of these things related? 3 Answers

On a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan LE, the electric windows won't roll up. Last week the passenger window wouldn't work, I turned the ignition key a couple of times and then it worked. Tonight, the drivers side window is about 1/3 down and won't go up. The passenger side would work though. I tried the ignition switch a couple of times and that didn't help. I then disconnected the battery to let the computer reboot. I waited 60 seconds hooked up the battery cable and now neither window will work. I have a 96 Caravan also, so I swapped the window switch between the two vehicles and nothing changed. I have tried to find the window fuse or relay and can't find it. The rear wing windows do work. I have an 01 dodge grand caravan it leaks transmission fluid when running but not when stopped and there is a fine mist of transmission fluid on the back door and window but we cant find the leak 1 Answer
Have made sure hoses are tight and not leaking and have tightened bolts on pan back seal looks new cant see front but fig it was to? No warning lights are on
