Why would my grand caravan stall like running out of gas, after the airbag light started flashing?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Airbag light came on and off, several times in a twenty mile trip. Two days later, the van stalled ( like running out of gas ) and quit after the same flashing airbag light.  Is there a relationship here?
Van will not start after replacing the fuel pump and filter, and the ignition coil.

I believe there is an issue with your vans supplemental restraint system. A similar thing happened with my fathers '04 Odyssey. There is most likely a problem with your airbag, not the airbag light. Getting that checked out costs around $80 at a dealer garage. Why it doesn't start after replacing those things just means there's a bigger issue. Good luck though!

check the gauge cluster for loose connections, i know it dosent make scene why that would cause your problem but this is a common problem with grand caravans and i have fixed every one of them by either replacing the cluster or re-soldering the connections these clusters cause many of the problems in these vans
