Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do we turn off the daylight running lights
turn off and they stay on with the engine off
and drain the car battery dead?

Sounds like a stuck relay. In the underhood fuse box, if equipped, look for a relay marked DRL. Remove it. If the lights go out, replace it and see what happens. They're not expensive. Hope that helps! Jim
