Ran Taurus with no coolant 4 weeks. Ok flush/run 10 min w/75:25 H20:Wht
Vinegar? City has very high calcium/hard water. About to change water pump.
White residue around upper rad hose. Visible rust looking at radiator wall
closest to engine.

I would use distilled water and antifreeze. Add an anti rust product to the coolant. Any commercial flush product will work or use your vinegar solution.
