Hi i have feul pump issues. I took it to an machanic 5 months ago and 5 months before that i took it again for the same problems. and now its happening again the fuel pump does not come on because i dont hear it. now that i got a little mad i hit the gas take(yes i know dumb ass on my part) but after i did it i heard the fuel pump come on and she started rite up. PLAESE HELP WHY COULD SHE BE DOING THIS TO ME?

as the owner of 3 T BIRD SUPER COUPES,your fuel pump is going bad needs replaceing,and hitting the bottom of gas tank was the best thing you could have done,it got it working,RIGHT.

Sounds like you have a wire that may have a bad connection and you hitting the tank may have wiggled it just enough to get it to power the pump a fuel pump either works or it don't so the pump is good it's in the wiring or connection..
