Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As I drive down the highway about a 100miles with my 2003 Ford Explorer (NBX), I noticed that my car speedometer dropped to zero once my food is off the Throttle. But once I return my leg to the Throttle, the car jerks and eventually, the car came to stop without moving even when it is on Drive, Reverse etc, The car rolls even when it is on Drive. There are some noise when put the gear on Park.

okay, these days you cannot be rolling at all, when park is engaged...you're messing with the interlock when you stuff it into park while rolling~ aside from the display of your speedometer, was there anything wrong with perfomance..you KNOW there are no more cables anymore...neither throttle, nor vehicle speed (magnets on the driveshaft)~wireless~

at six years old now, you should be changing the filters, air, fuel, oil and the PcV valve too~ sounds to me this "rolling in Drive" business is because the idle speed is set a bit high~ more so when the defroster is engaged (puts the a/c on)~
