2002 Escape v-6 spark plug /coil change

Asked by sypango Dec 20, 2010 at 10:45 AM about the 2002 Ford Escape XLT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My friends pulled plugs from larger Triton truck engines and pulled threads out of aluminum head- any similar problems with escape v-6? I already broke screw holding coil on so I'm a little leary of Ford's design . Also, best way to get to rear three plugs by firewall? Any advice or similar experiences?
