Cylinder 4 and 5 were misfiring. I replaced the
spark plugs and the ignition coils and now it wont
accelerate to its fullest potential.. drove and it
wouldn't get over 20 MPH.. after that went out
again and it wouldn't get over 40 MPH.. problem or
do they have to adjust or something?

Go to a local parts store an have them to hook a computer up to it free of charge an see what kind of codes its listing. Make sure to write all the codes down an we can go from there.

If you left the CEL on, aka the misfiring issue go to long before repairing, (basically dumping raw fuel into the exhaust) you could have clogged your catalytic convertor. It's a common problem on the Escapes. have the car checked out by your local mechanic.

Any car that dumps raw fuel into the exhaust, via a misfire or leaky fuel injector will clog a cat.
