I have a 2006 Crown Vic. The air bag alarm beeps 5 times in sequences of 5
times.about every 20 minutes or so. It started out with just the light coming on.
Any suggestions?

Found out that it's the module that's causing the problem. There is only one fix...take it back to the dealership to have it replaced. It's only $2500.00. And no, you can't take a used one from another car...it won't work. It has to be programed. So...mine will continue to beep until I unhook the wire. The shop tech at my local Ford dealership told me that this was one of the main reasons that the police depts were getting away from Crown Vics. Evidently, this has been an ongoing problem for years. They started installing the modules in 2000. I will no longer have a passenger side airbag, but I'm not paying more for a simple part than my vehicle is worth according to Kelly's Blue Book.
So, how do you unhook the wire?
