Brake lights work but the tail lights and tag light does not work when I have the lights on. What is the issue?

Which fuse and where is it located

It might actually be inside of the lighting control module. This was problem on many of the cars. When my LCM burned out on one of our Mercurys, we had front signal lights but no headlights. These modules were a problem in their first years of use. as all lighting goes through them. It could also be in the dash switch.

What fuse do I use for a 2000 crown Victoria

Lighting contr Module recall- dealer repair consisted of installation of a bulky bypass kit, which I still have to kick at night to get working correctly, also had to replace brake light switch...I think they grounded something because initially I had to replace brake light switch by pedal - it kept blowing bulbs, and fuses for poweer steering, turn signals and cruise control still hasn’t been brought back to life. I can’t explain it, just know how I got everything functional again after dealer “fixed it”
