2003 Crown Victoria Vacuum Leak.

Asked by blfw Mar 10, 2017 at 11:05 PM about the 2003 Ford Crown Victoria LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 CV has a vacuum leak I think. The AC is defaulting to defrost. I have listened under the hood and under the dash for a leak and cant find it. I replaced the EATC unit and that did not fix the issue. Where should I be looking?

Blend door actuator vacuum motor may be called something else but its under/behind dash, there is two one for heat floor & recirculate and defrost & vent dash, this second one when vacuum is pulled the dash vent blow and when the motor fails it blows from the defrost vents. dash has to be dropped out to change it out or at least part way.
