I wouldn't worry bout it sometimes light flickering can happen if demands are made on alternator and it catches up a lil slowly. Other factors can contribute too. But as long as the range of output stays that's what's important. Batteries do not operate lights, they just basically start cars and run alarms when engine off.

Well there is a slight problem somewhere, I think it may be in the voltage regulator in the alternator, I would replace the alternator under warranty.

Your right, wouldn't hurt. Voltage regulators suppose to "regulate", and sometimes they can falter. Da best to ya!

I have a modified '06 GT, running a supercharger, racing cams and headers. Had simular isssues. Here's what I did to correct the problem. First, the factory belt tensioner was replaced with a Steeda performance tensioner. The factory one walbled and caused the belt to slip causing a voltage drop. Second, I ran a dedicated negative #6 wire from the battery to the alternator. You can get the wire and terminals at Home Depot or Lowes. Third, I ran an additional positive wire from the battery to the alternater. I just did all of this in January and about 750 miles ago, but no issues with voltage drop as before.
