Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey I got a 2006 Ford Mustang 6
cyclinder 4.0 base model. Okay
months back my check charging light
came on. So I bought a new
alternator and even went to auto zone
to get me a new battery and it ran
fine. Couple days later same shit.
Check charging light comes on. So I
got a new alternator and battery.
Worked perfect for a couple of
months. Just today I was driving
downtown and my car just up and
started sputtering like the gas wasn’t
reaching whatever the gas does in an
engine. I’m not mechanic tech but it
went out . I started it several times
and also notice when it was running
before it went out there were no
engine lights or check charging
system... But it wouldn’t even let me
get fast. I recently changed spark
plugs to spark plug wire all the way to
an ignition coil. It ran so well but just
today it would allow me to hit the gas
pedal while it stuttered the whole way
to the parking lot?? What could it
be??

Do yourself a favor and buy a basic scanner like an ELM327 (less than $20) Use it to check your car even if the check engine light is NOT on it will give you a lot of information and is a good starting point for tracking the problem down... It can display lots of fuel system info about the engine too.
