I have a 2001 Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0L 4L80e transmission and it lost all drive gears and reverse any advice

leaving work the transmission started whining and was shifting extremely
smooth, could not even tell it shifted really got onto the highway and it would
kick into high RPMs and not shift then it completely lost all gears at about 35
mph and currently will not move at all. trans temp wasnt even off the 100
degree mark yet. cant find any good answers and need advise, thanks

Sounds like the trany went to hell, to be sure need to get it to a reputable trany shop. 2001 Chevy trucks have a known weak link in them, just going off of memory, I think they took care of the problem around 2004-2005...
