Why am I stuck in 2nd gear ?

Asked by Talf98 May 07, 2020 at 12:09 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed my oil pan gasket and rear main
seal ,2 days later service brake system came
up on dash then I could get out of 2nd gear
and when I shift manually it still won’t catch in
3rd . Code read says it’s a wheel speed
sensor but that didn’t work and I tried vehicle
speed sensor but no luck . What else is there
to try ? And speedometer stays a 0

Mine just did it this morning. Engine light on and won't shift up or down from 2nd. Did you ever figure it out?
