Why does my truck have no power?

Asked by Brandon Aug 22, 2019 at 04:18 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 02 Silverado that has no power when you
accelerate. I've changed the distributor, cap, button, wires,
and plugs. After doing so it ran fine all weekend, go to work
on Monday, no power on acceleration. Halfway to work I go
to shut the heater off and suddenly full power. Here's the
kicker, when it loses all power with the heater off, I can turn
it on to get power back. Any ideas? I'm completely stumped
as well as everyone I've talked to.

I have checked all connections distributor wise. The reason I changed all of that was because of this problem, thought it was fixed but here I am again.
