is it a re-manufactured starter? if so take it back.. always bench test before installing. make sure all wires are tight. starters are hard to screw up installing, disconnect battery wires and remove 2 main bolts, remove starter wire (BIG) and start wire (small) and replace. i can guaranty if you bought a re-man, its bad. but new, never skimp on fuel pumps or starters. oh and batteries only last 3 to 4 years, they might seem to work and all lights come on but the cranking power isnt there.
