Ah, shucks Bob you flatter me. Dinner and a movie? Those numbers on top are the firing order. And yes javery 7 is 7 and I too was wondering how/why you think #7 is misfiring, OBD code?

Last time I went to the southland, it was $350 in gas just to get there, so it'd be a pricey dinner that took 7 1/2 hours to make (the appointment, not the dinner)---jeez, I can't travel, but the sentiment is appreciated...Often thought if all the GURUs went to a convention center for a "meeting of the minds" what everyone looks like. Never overlook a possible valve problem. A vacuum gauge will tell you that. If it holds steady, intakes are OK. If it "dances" around, there is an intake leaking. Hold a folded dollar bill up to the tailpipe. It should just blow away. If it "sucks" into the pipe, it might be an exhaust valve.
