battery draining

i have a 2001 silverado 1500 and the battery keeps
dying while driveing. charged the battery and put jt
in. it only lasted for about 2 minuites driving before
it dies again. the battery is only a few months old
but even if it had abad alternator j think the battery
would last longer then that on a full charge. i have
no idea whats wrong with it someone pleasehjelp

if alternator is bad it will pull on the battery more easy way to test it is take alternator off jave it tested along with battery any auto parts store usually does both free of charge
