how to locate & change a thermostat in a 2002 +monte carlo

my heater blows cold air and i got antifreeze in the radiator, could this be a stuck thermostat?

It could be stuck open yes - If it has a temerature gauge the manufacturer makes it so if the engine is at normal operating temerature it will rest half way.Anther test, if you can get at them, is feel the heater hoses BOTH should be very hot. Thermostat is the usual culprit and the easiest to start with.. Keep us informed

Really a question where would the thermostat be located at on a 2002 mc

It is located in a housing at the engine end of the top radiator hose. There are usually two bolts holding it on. What engine do you have?
