what 5 speed transmission can i swap in it?

And where can i get one? and what all will i
need to do the swap?  My escort only has
47,569 on it i would really like it to be a 5
speed though :) i have done a lot of body
work to it only put $689 in to it i hope you
can help!!

I already know a g5m will work but i dont trust a eBay trans lol

There's a lot of little pieces that have to be swapped over along with the transmission. Find a compatible Escort donor car.
