What is the biggest rim tire package I can put on a 96 Ford LX Wagon. I keep getting the same answer. Can I put on 15 inch rims on lower profiles?

Stock tire and rims have to go. OK I want them to go. Must still handle great and if possible get better fuel mileage or something
more then just looks. If that is possible.

Refrence "America's Tire" chart at America'stires.com size 14 to 17. 185-60 to 215-35 Tire Rack may also have the same info. Please keep in mind the wider and larger the tire and rims are, the more hp it takes to turn the wheel. It will cost a bit more in fuel.
