I have a Jeep Wrangler 6 speed manual with 195,000 miles and needs a replaced catalytic converter and transmission. Do I replace them or do I sell it?

I would price the repairs and then do the math. Selling it the way it is won't get you much. I would look for a good used transmission. The cat may not cost that much if you can use a generic. Make sure and use a 50 state approved cat if you live in Kalifornia.

Questions: Any recommendations on where to get/order a good used transmission and what is the maximum mileage you would want on it? I live in Connecticut.
