Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm changing out my compressor with clutch, accumulator dryer, expansion device adding viscosity oil and new o-rings, etc...BUT was wondering do I have to change out my ORIGINAL Evaporator?   I purchased one and it's the wrong size as it's a manufacturer's defect they said so I had to return it... Can I use my original or should I try to find a new one with my new system?   And when I can find one in a month or so change that out..  What do you guys think???  Need advice, please........Thanks

And the air blows pretty good but not like the newer AC in newer cars... Can I remove it and clean out the fins with Brake Cleaner instead of removing and installing a new Evaporator?
