what can i do mechanically to my my cooling system to make it run cooler and more efficiant?

why do 1986 corvettes run so hot?

try using a lower temp thermostat and and after market bigger radiator,or one could spend the money on a electric water pump for higher water output.this is for any muscle car

Ecklers corvette stocks cooling fan override switches in 4 temperature ranges. This will activate the big cooling fan in back of the radiator alot sooner than the cars ecm. (239 degrees F.) I suggest the one that is one up from the coldest range. I bought the next one up and my engine runs at 186 to 200 degrees, still to warm for my liking. Very easy to install, about 45 min. costs less than $30.
